We will drive a comprehensive IT transformation agenda from multiple perspectives: cost, application globalisation, modernisation, regulatory requirements in a solid engineering culture.The Chapter Lead forms the most important connection between the developers and the Chapter Area Lead in making sure that the developers receive day-to-day coaching. 

We have multiple Chapter Leads acting in among others one of the following expertise areas: Angular/Mendix, Java, Python, Integration (WebMethods/Kafka), C++, Salesforce and Data Engineering. As a Senior Angular Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping the future landscape of our SBL applications. You'll collaborate closely with two other Angular developers and multiple backend teams to bring this vision to life.

Your job

As a Senior Angular Developer, you'll be responsible for creating the frontend of our applications and maturing the frontend development cycle. You'll guide and mentor your team on best practices and contribute to the Angular Chapter. You'll work closely with your backend team and the Employee Portal team.

Working environment

Due to deep understanding of your Angular, TypeScript, CSS, HTML , you can develop user friendly frontend applications for the SBL block. Next to this you have a broad interest in your own area of responsibility and in the bank as a whole. As a result, you have a clear picture of the interrelations with other areas of responsibility and you encourage collaboration. You will work in an agile setting alongside a culturally diverse group of individuals, based in Amsterdam, Romania and in India.

Your profile

-    You have at least 5+ years’ experience building software that provides the best possible user experience, while keeping security in mind

-    You implement modern best practices for software development, such as automated building, testing, and deployment through CI/CD

-    You collaborate closely with your team members by discussing your solutions, code reviews and helping the TypeScript/Angular Chapter evolve to the next level

-    You enjoy tech, new solutions and always try to stay updated with the newest trends.

-    You are a fast learner and strive to understand the complex products and services we offer

-    You understand and work well in corporate environments

We are offering

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
