
Quantitative Analyst for Biodiversity - RaboResearch
You and your job
As Quantitative Analyst for Biodiversity at RaboResearch you know the secrets of modelling the impact of human activities on nature. This includes combining deep knowledge of top-down models on Nature impact with a good understanding of how bottom-up primary data can be integrated into the picture. You will be part of the team that delivers Rabobank’s first quantitative nature impact report. In addition, as a Quantitative Analyst you create actionable insights on how to implement Rabobank’s Nature vision.
You and your talent
Technical skills
- A Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong programming skills (Python is preferred) are a must.
- A solid foundation of statistics, economic modelling and life cycle assessment/environmental footprinting.
- Experience in data wrangling & transformation for modelling purposes.
- Experience in geospatial data analysis, data visualization, supply chain modelling (MRIO, LCIA) are a plus.
Non-technical skills
- Knowledge or experience in biological/biodiversity research and/or climate change
- Experience in corporate reporting standards (e.g. TNFD, PCAF) and sustainable target setting for corporates (SBTn) are a plus
- Ability to communicate research results effectively by translating complex information to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships within and outside RaboResearch.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Dutch is considered an advantage.
