As an agile change manager, you help to realize the delivery of the ABN AMRO Clearing strategy. In close collaboration with the business lead or theme / initiative owner, you ensure successful execution of one of the subsidiaries of ABN AMRO. 

You enable a clear vision and SMART objectives, organization-wide strategic alignment, capacity management, quality assurance, a transition approach, stakeholder management and communication. You are responsible for: financial sizing, execution plan, implementation and benefit tracking.  

Delivering results requires a strong collaboration across multiple departments. And while you work with multiple highly skilled people in the business and/or function to realize strategic key change initiatives, you are part of the Platform team. Together with you peers, you coordinate large, international change initiatives that drive part of the execution of the CITRUS control strategy.

Your job

As Agile change manager you:

  • Have a central role in delivering value through execution of the 1Global change portfolio for databases.
  • Support decision making boards with achieving critical milestones by continuously improving change initiatives and processes. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the initiative lead / product owner and engage with key stakeholders in the execution of our platform strategy. 
  • Are in frequent contact with the change initiative team as well as parties throughout the organization that need to support the initiatives to deliver its results.
  • Create insight, oversight and control over the end-to-end change. 
  • Focus on the objectives, progress, dependencies and dilemmas of initiatives. 
  • Ensure there is a clear roadmap and up-to-date and relevant overviews of status, decisions, impediments and dependencies.
  • Analyze priority conflicts, strategic transition options and dilemmas and give advice to decision makers to take decisions on the optimal way forward.
  • Address dependencies across initiatives to ensure an integrated approach in realizing our strategic ambitions.
  • Initiate and facilitate deep dives to ensure there is a clarity on objectives and the required collaboration across the organization. 
  • Align initiatives with the quarterly business review portfolio planning. 
  • Obtain synergies, by sharing relevant insight into deliverables of teams throughout the organization across initiatives and departments.
  • Contribute to our strategic Key Performance Indicators by ensuring timely delivery in line with 1Global priorities.
  • Install discipline in the way we steer and execute our change initiatives, by applying 1Global standards for managing change.
  • Develop your learning mindset and ensure we actively learn what is needed to successfully realize our strategy.

Your working environment

You join the Clearing platform team that manages the overall transition plan on behalf of Global MT. In your day-to-day work you will work as an Agile change manager but also be part of the database team.

Your profile

  • You have proven knowledge and a vision on the use of databases in a corporate environment 
  • You have a proven track record in successfully realizing complex (Agile) change initiatives with an organizational wide impact.
  • You are pragmatic and are able to keep clear oversight within large change initiatives.
  • You have experience being a sparring partner for senior management and a natural (informal) leader.
  • You have a passion for creating impact that ultimately benefits our customer’s experience.
  • Your way of getting things done naturally makes you collaborate across silos and you have a track record in mobilizing people through difficult transitions.
  • You dare to challenge the status quo.
  • You have a holistic view, which you can easily translate into concrete actions.
  • You connect relevant people and enable smooth execution by leaving responsibilities where they should be and facilitating the strategy execution mechanisms of the bank.
  • You have broad business knowledge and are able to understand how this translates into governance, data, processes, organization and technology. 
  • You work and reason at a university level and have more than 5 years experience of providing advice from the perspective of multiple disciplines.
  • You drive execution of change control procedures and assess change performance against Clearing key performance benchmarks.
