You are the connecting link between the team that manages the content and the stakeholders to adopt their wishes. You guide the (technical) team in setting the right priorities and build what is requested and needed in the organization. Together with the team you make it happen that our users can count on an extremely reliable and secure authentication infrastructure. You help your team to simplify the current setup to achieve this. You also help simplify the work of the team so that it becomes more fun due to reduce complexity and ease of new feature development with automation.

This job opportunity resides within the business unit Group IT, the central IT department of NN. The Active Directory Team delivers the authentication foundation (domain controllers and all associated infrastructure to manage them securely) in a highly standardized and automated way at a large scale. You will make sure the Active Directory infrastructure remains stable, performant and secure and that new features are developed.

• Break down complex discussions to what is most important and keep the requirements clear for all different parties so the right decision can be made
• Daily coordination, motivation and coaching of the team
• Together with the team you give guidance on the implementation of the maintenance and the roadmap of the NN AD infrastructure and make sure the business units and other product domains are aligned with our plans
• Managing the product backlog and setting the right priorities
• Stakeholder management, forming a buffer between developers and the business

• A recent background in IAM, AD, or IT infrastructure, either as an (Lead) Engineer, as a Product Owner or within another coordination function. This has equipped you with solid subject matter expertise as well as (infrastructure) management skills. Affinity with relevant Microsoft Technologies is a plus, not a must
• As such, certain experience in driving a project or team in delivering a relevant product or service
• Beside the technical part, you’re interested and motivated for the human interaction, teambuilding and motivational aspects as well.
• Intrinsically motivated to seek out developments and improvements
• Great analytical skills and prioritization techniques, so you can manage the backlog well.
• You are well-organized and you are able to function as a buffer between the development team and the business
• Willingness to travel to Prague every 6-8 weeks.

Met wie je werkt

You will be part of our Active Directory Team that consists of 8 technical engineers, 6 of them working from Prague (CZ). Together with the network teams we are responsible for the Network & Access Domain of NN. It is key that you have experience of working in a highly technical environment and that you are able to connect with engineers and speak their language.

Having a hybrid team setup across 2 countries requires, beside the technical responsibilities, also focus on organization, collaboration and team culture. Team events are regularly organized and the full team meets physically every quarter in either Prague or The Hague.
