Privacy Counsel
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Privacy Counsel to join our Privacy team in Amsterdam. The team works closely with our commercial, compliance and product teams, while collaborating and negotiating with some of the biggest companies, in order to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations around the world.

What you'll do:
- Together with the team, strengthen Adyen’s data privacy compliance framework.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including commercial, product, marketing, data and regulatory teams, ensuring that privacy matters are effectively and efficiently managed.
- Review and negotiate on data processing agreements with customers and suppliers.
- Anticipate data protection obligations and risks, and ensure that these are appropriately addressed. Keeping track of new legislative proposals and other legal developments regarding privacy.
Who you are:
- You have 5+ years of experience in the privacy field (including GDPR) preferably with experience in privacy compliance and negotiating data processing agreements;
- A natural-born networker with high energy, a confident self-starter with a proven commercial edge, entrepreneurial mindset and strong negotiation skills;
- You are a team player and include different people to sharpen your ideas.
- You have solid interpersonal skills, specifically you will be able to liaise and connect with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and customers from varying disciplines and cultures;
- You have the ability to structure and prioritize in a high volume, fast-paced environment and build and drive processes to completion.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
