We are seeking a Business Analyst/Data Modeler for the Data Sourcing team in our product unit – Financing Solutions to support our ETL activities. The Financing Solutions (FS) product unit has end-to-end responsibility for delivering lending products to all client segments. It is like the engine room of lending and offers advice, monitors credit status and offers appropriate credit solutions. FS provides exposures of over one million euros of a credit advice.
 
We are seeking a dedicated Business Analyst/Data Modeler to join Financing Solutions (FS) specifically focusing on Credit Data Sourcing and Distribution within the Data Management department. As a Data Modeler / Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our credit data model. This position requires an understanding of data modelling, business analysis, and the lending/credit domain to enhance our lending operations.
 
As a Business Analyst/Data Modeler, you will work together with other data professionals and collaborate with a range of business partners in Financing Solutions to enable simple and efficient Credits Data distribution in our credits domain.  

Your job

Maintain comprehensive data models, mapping credit data elements and flows to support lending decisions and regulatory compliance. You will also work closely with business stakeholders to understand credit data requirements and translate them into tangible data deliveries. 

Working environment

The data sourcing and distribution team is a part of a broader department named Credit & Collateral Data Management and Strategy which is responsible for data quality, data distribution and data analytics within Financing Solutions. This team consists of a data analysts and a data engineering team that work towards the delivery of the Credits Data Domain Store application. Together we work on data projects focusing on customers that are corporations. We collaborate a lot and help each other with data challenges, we all are eager to learn and develop ourselves. We work hybrid, team members work at least one day per week from our headquarters in Amsterdam. 

Your profile

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse credit data requirements, ensuring alignment with lending strategies. 
• Perform data source analyses and map the data to the Credit Business Data Model (CBDM)
• Maintain data models, mapping credit data elements and flows to support lending decisions and regulatory compliance.
• End to end management of data development sub-projects and work closely with data engineers to implement data (management) related products
• Identify and implement improvements in the credit domain at an operational level

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field. 
• Experience in conceptual, logical and physical data modelling and business analysis, particularly within the banking sector and credit data domain. 
• SQL skills for querying credit data
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to credit data is a plus 
• General understanding of IT topics (through technical background or job experience)
