As Lead DEI you are, together with your colleagues, responsible for designing and driving NN’s long term DEI strategy and agenda. We want to be an industry leader in providing an inclusive and diverse work environment, in which employees can bring their whole (talented) selves to work. We want our products & services to be accessible and inclusive for all our customers, and for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to always considered in NN Group's contributions to society.
You will work on research and strategy development, designing and aligning plans across the organisation, managing an international stakeholder field, and ensuring clear agreements and guidelines are established for our DEI aspirations. With your DEI colleagues, you play a critical role in identifying areas of opportunity, analysing trends, and creating reports to keep our team informed on progress towards our DEI agenda and KPIs. You have a deep understanding of leveraging data analysis and reporting to identify trends, measure progress and make informed decisions on where to focus our DEI efforts. Additionally, you will effectively and compellingly communicate (data) insights and DEI strategies to stakeholders at all levels, through engaging presentations, reports, and other materials.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and drive NN’s long-term DEI strategy and agenda
- Identify areas of opportunity, analyse trends, and create reports to track progress towards DEI agenda and KPIs
- Communicate (data) insights and DEI strategies to stakeholders at all levels
- Work closely with business and HR stakeholders to shape DEI initiatives
- Monitor and report on datapoints and key metrics, coordinate DEI communication, and follow developments in the market to anticipate future industry trends.

Wat je meebrengt
- You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in DEI (e.g. research) in an international context
- You are able to develop and bring strategy to life across a various domains and while being mindful of differences in maturity, cultures and feasibility
- You have a Master’s degree or equivalent work experience (consultancy experience is valued)
- You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (English required, Dutch is valued) and understand the dynamics of an international corporate environment
- You are analytically strong, have affinity with data, and you are structured and result oriented
- You have strong project management skills, you are persuasive and decisive
- You have a helicopter view and strong listening skills
- You are at ease with providing respectful feedback to all stakeholders, and are open to receive feedback
Met wie je werkt
The DEI team is a small team, in which you are working together with the DEI Specialist and a DEI intern. The DEI team reports to the Head of Human Capital Development. Your key stakeholders include HR Directors and Business Partners, and DEI champions, and the various departments we closely collaborate with such as Corporate Communication, Events and external stakeholders.
The Human Capital Development (HCD) team also consists of Talent and Performance Management, Learning and Leadership Development. The NN HR function contributes to the realisation of the company’s strategic ambition: to be known for customer engagement, talented people and contribution to society.
