Your role is actively liaise with global business functions, e.g. Sales, Operations, Accounting and support them in understanding complex Compliance obligations.

What you do

Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, as the Head of Compliance Transformation your role is to feed Compliance requirements into business processes and applicable systems into organization.  
Your role is actively liaise with global business functions, e.g. Sales, Operations, Accounting and support them in understanding complex Compliance obligations and how to best embed them into day to day processes as well as development of new IT platform solutions. 
You will be accountable for Compliance communications which is described by rolling out Compliance Standards, Functional Rules and Guidelines into organization, incl securing "tone from the top". 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Translate and simplify complex Compliance controls as per Non-Financial Risk Management framework into business requirements. 
  • Map Compliance requirements into different business processes and applicable global functions  
  • Facilitate "Compliance by Design" and lead (jointly with business and Org. Management - 1st Line of Defence) embedding Compliance requirements into business processes and systems to ensure effectiveness of Compliance program. 
  • Map internal Compliance - 2nd Line of Defence processes and look to generate efficiency gains within process  
  • Represent Compliance in one selected LoB and ensure business as usual and also development of new platforms is compliant 
  • Design and deliver Compliance communications of new, updated Compliance Standards, Functional Rules and spread a good level of awareness of Compliance obligations in the organization, when/ where applicable secure "tone from the top". 

What you bring

  • Proven experience in a similar role, strong compliance understanding and leading of transformation projects 
  • Strong experience and knowledge of insurance/ assistance business 
  • Certification in Operational Excellence (OPEX) 
  • Experience with working with business stakeholders, facilitating review of processes, complex enquiries and ensure compliance controls are in place
  • Strong process/ analytical skills and excellent stakeholder management on all levels. 
  • Experience working with senior executives to influence on embedded compliance controls.
