In a nutshell
As a Data Scientist you are part of the analytical back-bone of Knab. You like to take on complex challenges and you are You are not afraid to get to the bottom of things but recognize situations where a swift solution is the best answer.
Your main responsibilities:
- Apply statistical and machine learning algorithms to design, develop and improve our Client Activity Monitoring, anti-fraud and AML models
- Deliver models with high degree of quality (data preparation, modelling, testing and validation, documentation and deployment)
- Conduct responsible AI (explainability, non-bias and fairness)
- Interact cross-functionally, making business recommendations with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders
- Coach our junior team members
- Actively share your knowledge to help us grow as a team
- Take ownership of your personal development
The Department and team
The Expert Center Data and Analytics (ECDA) department consists of 35+ dedicated data professionals with a big heart for the business value of Data. ECDA consists of four teams: Data Science, Enterprise Data Office, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering & DBA. The department works with all functions of Knab and is Knab’s Center of Excellence for “all things data”. The Data Science team consists of all communicative 'beta nerds' who get energized by complex data challenges. You will be working closely with KYC domain stakeholders.
Your Profile
There is no set route to become a great Data Scientist at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:
Master degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Econometrics, Physics, Mathematics, Artificial intelligence, Business Analytics etc.)5 years+ working experience in the field of Data ScienceAt least 2 years experience in KYC domain (fraud management, client activity monitoring, AML)Expertise in AI/ Machine learningExcellent Python and SQL skillsBusiness focusedProactive, driven to achieve results and flexible. Can draw the bigger picture before sketching the detailCan bring across a message clearly and conciselyIs able to work under pressure in a focused and precise mannerFluent in English
