Your job

ABN AMRO'S IT Engineers design, develop & maintain the next generation of applications. While this means we value our top notch quality standard, you'll work with the best professionals in software development. As an IT Engineer within  Transactions Services you are responsible with your team to speed up and strengthen the digital transformation by designing, implementing and supporting our automated processes.

You will be part of a team within our Trade Finance domain. This team is responsible for automating the Trade Finance department.

You will have a senior role in a DevOps team and work in close cooperation with our Trade Finance department. You are responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of software to automate and support our business processes. Your focus will be on providing our stakeholders management information using ETL and PowerBI.

Working environment

You will be part of Transactions Services, which is at the heart of the innovation and growth strategy of Our Personal & Business Banking business line. Your focus is on the Trade Finance domain. Trade finance is the term used to describe the tools, techniques, and instruments that facilitate trade and protect both buyers and sellers from trade-related risks. The purpose of trade finance is to make it easier for companies to transact business with each other. We support payment instruments like Letters of Credits, Documentary Collections and Guarantees. To achieve this, we closely work together with our vendors and our business partners.

The team you are going to be part of is a multidisciplinary group of ambitious colleagues working with an agile mindset. The team is responsible for the automation of the Trade Finance department. We think it's important to have a proactive, pragmatic and learning mindset and keen to take up responsibilities passion for experimentation and continuous improvement. In this team we work hard, learn a lot by challenging ourselves every day, while embracing humor for a good atmosphere. Openness, transparency, quality and ownership are our key values.

Your profile

Would you like to work on your career at ABN AMRO? Then you should have:

• 5+ years of proven business analysis skills such as requirement gathering, refining complex items and creating stories for Team, stakeholder communication etc. 
• Knowledge of the following technologies: Python, Databricks, Azure, Kubernetes, SQL, Web services (SOAP/REST), JSON, XML, UML
• Microsoft certifications, such as: AZ900
• You have worked in a large scale environment with complex setups
• Knowledge of and Experience in the following development concepts: ETL, CICD

We are offering

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
