Grid Wealth is responsible for a wide variety of products and services to our Retail and Private Banking customers. We serve clients in Investments, pensions, and fiscal saving clients. We help them to oversee their finances, make sound financial decisions and grow their Wealth for comfortable financial future. In the grids colleagues from both business and IT work together in multidisciplinary teams and share responsibility for delivering the roadmap Wealth solutions in the Netherlands. Your job as...
As chapter lead, you will work in a fast paced and accessible environment. We love to share knowledge and to challenge each other, for example by sharing our expertise in our blog, during the events of our developer community and by organising hackathons. Additionally, as Chapter Lead, you will combine working as a backend Java IT Engineer on ABN AMRO Internet Banking, with your role as Lead. You will work in your own block on refining, analysing, designing, developing/coding, testing, maintaining, and realising good quality and future proof IT solutions. The rest of the time you will manage your team. This includes:
- Educating yourself and others with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations.
- Mentoring your Chapter members on technical craftsmanship.
- Actively participating in knowledge gaining and sharing by joining triangles, circles, communities and events. Furthermore, focus on proper knowledge dissemination across the teams, pushing the limits of our technology and focussing on holistic solutions.
- Proper alignment with stakeholders. For example, informing leadership on the alignment you have with the Solution Engineer on the technological landscape and lifecycle. Furthermore, you ensure a current stack and room for innovation on the backlog by discussing this with the Product Owners.
- Working in a DevOps environment and advocating the Agile and CICD processes.
- On a strategical level you mentor your team, evaluate technical assessments, do interviews and ensure that new employees are properly onboarded.
- Take care of the HR processes to facilitate all aspects relating to the influx, development, performance and outflux of employees.
- Create and foster a healthy working environment and a holistic culture for your Chapter.

Must have:
- 7+ years of experience in backend technology like Java, Spring Framework, rest APIs and Azure.
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience in working DevOps
- Coaching skills
Good to have:
- Advanced with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understand and act upon the Scrum Values (openness, courage, commitment, respect and focus)
- Release management
